About the Norman Samuels Plaza
Norman Samuels Plaza (NSP) is the primary outdoor event space adjacent to the Paul Robeson Campus Center. The Plaza includes two reservable lawn areas—the North Lawn and South Lawn—as well as six designated tabling locations near the building. The lawns may be reserved individually or together as a full Plaza reservation, which also includes all six tabling locations.

North Lawn
Flexible lawn space suitable for tented events and standing receptions.
South Lawn
Flexible lawn space suitable for tented events and standing receptions.
Full Plaza (North Lawn + South Lawn + Tabling)
Large-scale outdoor configuration utilizing both lawns and all tabling locations.
Final capacities are determined during event planning based on tenting, layout, and safety requirements.
NSP Tabling
Six (6) designated outdoor tabling locations are available near the building.
Each tabling location includes:
- Up to two (2) contact tables (default is one)
- Up to four (4) chairs (default is two)
Tables do not include linen.
When the full Plaza is reserved, all six tabling locations are included in the reservation.
