Events & Conference Services supports the Rutgers–Newark community by managing event spaces, coordinating logistics, and providing professional guidance at every stage of the planning process.
We combine attention to detail with a people-first approach—ensuring that every event, large or small, receives the care and expertise it deserves.
Our work includes:
- Event Planning & Coordination – Partnering with clients to design, schedule, and organize events that reflect their goals and vision.
- Facility Operations – Preparing, setting, and maintaining event spaces to ensure a professional and welcoming environment.
- Scheduling & Reservations – Managing space requests and event calendars to support academic, cultural, and community programming across campus.
- Equipment & Technology Support – Providing audiovisual, staging, and event equipment to help presentations, performances, and conferences run seamlessly.
- Client Services & Communication – Serving as the primary point of contact for event hosts, ensuring information is clear, timely, and accurate.
- Student Leadership Development – Offering hands-on experience for student employees in planning, logistics, and client relations—developing leadership skills that last well beyond the university experience.
